Welcome to the Hindu Calendar app ("App"), developed and operated by ishubhamx ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Hindu Calendar is a mobile application that provides astrological and astronomical calculations (Panchang), holiday information, calendars, and other related services for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Accuracy of Information

• Calculations: The App uses the @ishubhamx/panchangam-js astronomical engine to calculate planetary positions, tithis, nakshatras, and other metrics based on your provided or detected location.
• No Guarantee: While we strive for high accuracy, astronomical algorithms, time zones, and interpretations may vary. We make no warranties or representations regarding the absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the data generated by the App.
• Reliance: You acknowledge that any reliance on the information provided by the App is at your own risk. The App is not intended for critical scheduling or life-altering decisions.

3. User Responsibilities

When using this App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App's source code or its underlying APIs and services.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or the servers and networks used to make the App available.

4. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: The App, including its original design, source code, text, generated SVGs, graphics, and features, are owned by the Developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on your personal devices.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services, primarily Google Firebase (including Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and Cloud Messaging), to improve functionality, stability, and notification delivery. These services are governed by their own Terms of Service. By using the App, you also acknowledge the use of these integrated third-party platforms.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App.
• Any errors or inaccuracies in the Panchang calculations, timings, or festival dates.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will post the most current version of the Terms within the App or on this web page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
